Using a WoW Token Blizzard Support

If you choose to purchase it for usage on your Battle.net Account from the Auction House there will be a new tab called “Game Time”. Buying the WoW Token for game mass adoption token time is a very simple and streamlined process. All it takes is a quick trip to the Auction House and a few button clicks. Customer support does not assist with temporary access to the game in order to purchase a WoW Token.

THE DETAILS

Players will be able to purchase a WoW Token through the in-game Shop for real money, and then sell it on the Auction House for gold at the current market price. When a player buys a WoW Token from the Auction House for gold, the Token becomes Soulbound, and the player can then redeem it for 30 days of game time. After November 21, 2023, any player who cannot purchase a WoW Token for gold in-game will need to first purchase and consume at least 30 days of game time for real money. This can be done on any World of Warcraft account across the player’s Battle.net account to qualify. Players will no longer be allowed to purchase a WoW Token from the Auction House or the in-game Shop for gold if they have not spent real money to purchase and consume at least 30 days of game time (a “Time Limited License”) since 2017.

Buying and Selling WoW Tokens: Useful Information

Going for GoldBecause the Token exchange has to start somewhere, we will be setting the initial gold value of the WoW Token ourselves. The starting gold value in each region will be based on several factors, including regional in-game economies, but ultimately our goal is to select a fair and reasonable starting price. After that, the Token’s gold value will be determined dynamically based primarily on player supply and demand. Simply put, if more WoW Tokens are being listed than are being purchased, the price will automatically drift downward over time. If people are purchasing Tokens from the Auction House faster than they’re being put up for sale, then prices will go up accordingly.

Guide to Obtaining and Selling the WoW Token

Players are able to purchase WoW Tokens through the In-Game Shop for real money, and can sell WoW Tokens on the Auction House for gold at the… Not anywhere near high enough to afford a token.Realistically, once a level 20 trial character has reached a couple of hundred gold, which is easily obtainable in an evening of questing, there’s nothing left for them to buy. To purchase a WoW Token for Game Time select WoW Token while browsing the in-game Auction House. Once you click Buyout and confirm your purchase, your WoW Token will be mailed to you. To purchase a WoW Token for Game Time or Battle.net Balance, select WoW Token while browsing the in-game Auction House. You would get this error in question if you have enough gold if there is not enough World of Warcraft Tokens for sale on the market.

Limitations and Restrictions

While the Token has been available for purchase since April, it seems there are still many questions when it comes to this new system. This guide will hopefully clear up some of the confusion and answer some of your long standing quests by covering all the steps to buy and sell the WoW Token. If you’ve run out of Game Time but you have a Token in a character’s inventory, you’ll be able to use the WoW Token from the character select screen and add Game Time to any WoW game account on your Battle.net Account. If your Game Time has expired, you can purchase and consume a WoW Token directly from the character select screen. Each character on the selected realm will contribute gold to the price of buying the WoW Token, including gold in characters’ mailboxes. We’ll provide further updates on timing as we get closer to the Token’s launch in each region.

1. When you put a WoW Token up for sale, you’ll be quoted the amount of gold you’ll receive once someone buys it—you’re guaranteed to get that amount no matter how the market moves.
2. If people are purchasing Tokens from the Auction House faster than they’re being put up for sale, then prices will go up accordingly.
3. This can be done on any World of Warcraft account across the player’s Battle.net account to qualify.
4. This is because other services players offer in-game like game-time and other features such as in-game store mounts are often advertised by compromised accounts and are not legit.
5. We’ll provide further updates on timing as we get closer to the Token’s launch in each region.

If you are at or near the Battle.net Balance cap, you will not be able to redeem a Token for Battle.net Balance. Blizzard is aware of this bug and the developers have announced that the gold spent would be returned to the person(s) that purchased the token off the Auction House! To purchase a WoW Token with real money, go to the in-game Auction House and select the WoW Token category, then click the yellow i button in the top right corner of the Auction house interface.

As a reminder, to help make sure players can trade WoW Tokens confidently, once a Token sells, the seller will receive the amount of gold they were quoted at the time they listed their Token. Once purchased, a Token can then be put up for sale in a region-wide exchange via a new Game Time tab in the Auction House. In the Americas, Europe, Korea, and Taiwan, players who purchase a WoW Token from the Auction House will be able to redeem it for 30 days of game time.

This does not affect the consumption of existing WoW Tokens, however, game time provided by the consumption of a WoW Token does not count toward the qualification to purchase a WoW Token for gold. After you’ve purchased a Token from the Auction House, right-click the item in your inventory to open the Redemption window. You can choose to redeem your Token for 30 days of Game Time or $15 an advanced regulated and secure crypto trading exchange of Battle.net Balance.
